Welcome to League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Class of 2028!

For two weeks in the summer, new brothers of BOMLA participate in our transitional day-camp known as League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, or ‘LXG’. LXG allows the new brothers to become acclimated to both the campus and the culture of BOMLA. Additionally, the camp allows new students to familiarize themselves with faculty and staff members prior to the return of the student body.

The goals of the camp are:
1. Immersing incoming students into the BOMLA Culture
2. Acclimating students to BOMLA practices and procedures
3. Challenging students to problem-solve as leaders

Several returning students of BOMLA assist with leading the camp. Returning students assist faculty and staff in creating curriculum, teaching new students the traditions of BOMLA, and leading tours during LXG. This allows new students to form relationships with returning students in a close-knit environment. Each year the new students receive a camp reading assignment; this year the reading assignment is “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens,” by Sean Covey. This year’s LXG camp runs July 26, 2021 – August 5, 2021 and is my possible in part by H-E-B Grocery Company.
