This year, to commemorate graduation, FRIENDS of Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy supported the graduating class by hosting events that celebrated their achievements they complete the journey.

FRIENDS of BOMLA hosted Senior Signing Day and a gift giveaway at the Senior Parade. Senior Signing Day is an annual event where the young men of BOMLA announce their college of choice. Senior Signing Day is a tradition at BOMLA that both celebrates and inspires the brothers of BOMLA to attain higher education. FRIENDS of BOMLA also supported the graduating class by providing gifts to the graduates during the Senior Parade. Through the generosity of our friends at Toyota and JCPenney, FRIENDS of BOMLA was able to provide the Class of 2021 with laptops, linens, and luggage to help our young men seamlessly transition to college.

FRIENDS of BOMLA also supported the graduating class by underwriting all graduation program pamphlets for students and family attendees.
